Acquiring a building permit can be a daunting task. Having the right information and obtaining quality construction documents can greatly simplify the process. Murray Engineering serves as one of the critical steps in obtaining a permit.

The first step is to have someone draw the house plan. Once the house plans are finalized the plan may be submitted to a truss manufacturer for design of the roof and/or floor system. We will provide all necessary design information to the component designer at this time. Once the truss design is complete, we will acquire all information from the architect and truss designer to begin the structural design. Once the structural design is complete we will submit the construction documents along with reviewed truss engineering to the contractor.

Through the permitting stage and on into construction, Murray Engineering will remain a partner to the contractor. We are always available by phone, email, or on-site consultation to provide the necessary documentation to keep the project on track and to avoid costly down time.
